Ever since my recent visit to Candy empire I had been stuffing my face out every day.
Had develop this habit of snacking after every meal no matter how full I am. Else, the meal just wouldn't feel complete.
Bad habit, not to mention highly unhealthly since that would mean either a large pack of chips or cookies on a daily basis.
I'm so going to gain back the weight I've loss the past weeks dued to my unfortunate eating and then more.
Had Hokkien mee for supper yesterday. Highly sastifying! And I'm pleased that I had the perseverance to resist the temptation of ordering a larger serving.
I can be a girl at times too. Hah!
Tried cooking Aglio olio with vegeterian oyster sauce for lunch today and whipped out this heavenly strawberries and cream with biscuit crumbs for desserts.
I swear adding vegeterian oyster sauce to the classic plain Aglio olio is a stroke of brilliance! It just bring out the sweetness of stir-fry garlic and being a garlic person, I've threw in lots of extras.
Apparently with baskets full of strawberries sitting in my fridge along with missing marshmallow for my mousse making, I couldn't resists the temptation of whipping up the thicken cream I've bought.
Hey! Still, I've been telling myself that this is quite necessary since I need to make sure the thicken can be whipped and the strawberries wouldn't last. A perfectly sound logic definitely. Hah!
Made claasic english pudding, only difference is I'm lacking the pomegranate juice and replaced the meringues with cookies crumbs.
Really, dry crispy meringues takes a long time to bake and I've got more life than that.
Nevertheless, I'm extremely pleased with the results.
Seriously what could go wrong? Although whipping the cream can be a bitch.
Look! My current addiction.(pictures not taken by me)

I ate 3 servings of this since my family don't eat cream.
Raspberries and cream.
I want to try this someday.
